What i'm missing about home? I miss my dad, my mom, my brother, my sister, my pets, even my house, all my family and friends. I miss going to my friends houses, Saray, Sofia, Mayerhli and Diana. But i know i will see them again so right now the only thing that i care is to have fun, to learn and improve my English while i'm here. I have to say i also miss the food, a good tomato salad, or some delicious salty patacones for breakfast or the Bolon, the encebollado. The warm back there, i guess i will always love my super warm weather. The beaches in there like: salinas, playas, montañita, ect. I also miss the food of the beaches that they have like the shrimp ceviche, the corviches, all the salty food back in Ecuador. Have i learned anything new about myself during the last week? I now know that i'm good at my speaking, my family had told how amazing was my English, since the day we arrive in Detroit, i haven't had any problems to communicate with them, neither with my teachers and Maumee Valley friends. I also know that i'm going to be well prepared when i came back to the United States Of America to study in college. I will know how to communicate, how to behave in front of people, and how to survive during my first years.

MONDAY: FEBRUARY 27TH
Reflect on my weekend? I've improve my English thank to this trip, I've learned a lot of new words that we (Ecuadorian people and American People) don't usually use, like : Amok, Agnostic, Amicable, Arrears, Atavism, Alchemy, Delve, Defrock, Dapper, Cohort, Deadpan, Crux, Concord, Desiccate, Demur, Fritter, Franchise, Forgo, Lexicon, Leonine, Reek, Quizzical, Pry, etc. I have also met some incredible people, traditions and games from here. Food and Brands that we don't have and the ones that we should have. The difference between the houses in here and the houses in Ecuador are so big, here their houses has so much more space, and even have their own garden. There are also big difference between the prices of food, cloths, material, candies, etc are between Ecuador and Ohio. How do i feel about culture in the United States of America? There really peaceful, they always to eat together as a family, some families don't use shoes on the floor because it's not actual hard floor is carpet. I have no problem with their cultures whatsoever, i can really adapt without having any kind of problems. How does family life different or the same? I don't think it's the same, maybe something, but it's a normal thing to eat together or do things together in families from all over the world, there are not so many difference between Ohio families and Ecuadorian families, the only difference might be the way and the amount of food that they eat in here. The variety of restaurant in here, the options that families usually take to eat, like junk food or healthy food. But that depends on the families not on the country or the culture of the state/city/country, only on the teaching of the moms and dads of what is healthy and what is not.

FRIDAY: FEBRUARY 24TH
How has the week gone? Well, awesome actually. I've met some really nice and fun people. I went to an Art Museum, a Lake Museum, a Water Park, and to the mall with my friends. Till now i can say it was an incredible weekend. I had tasted food in the way they cooked in here, food that is not in Ecuador, even food that has a very different size and flavor than the food in my country, Ecuador. I think my body is now used to this weather, maybe not, but i have faith that i will survive the cold in here, if i have luck. How is the trip going compared to my expectations? Really good, My expectations were to see how different are schools in here (Toledo, Ohio) than schools in Ecuador. Till now i had see many difference, they don't use books the only thing they use is their Ipads or laptops. They even take exams with it. My expectation about the people in here were correct, everyone is so nice. They ask you if you need help and they help you, sometimes they don't even ask.
What are some aspects of culture that i have found difficult or interesting? Well, in school they don't ask to go to the bathroom or to go somewhere while class is going on, they just go and teachers don't care, it's hard not to ask sometimes because it something that in Ecuadorian schools we usually do. I've to say salads are very different from our salads, they don't use tomatoes, they only use leaves and some raspberry's or potatoes on it. It's really interesting the fact that there are some big difference between Ohio and Ecuador, they may not be that important or big but they are, they exist and they really interesting.

THURSDAY: FEBRUARY 23rd
Today was a great day! We went to Toledo Art Museum, we saw amazing paintings and sculptures. They were pretty interesting, the story of the painting and the artist that painted were pretty awesome. Those Drawings and paintings that were showed to us were telling old and new stories about someones life, someones experience, different points of view that were showed to us. The only word that says how awesome was that is: spectacular. Later that we went outside the Museum, we saw a Tire swing and we swing on her. It was really fun. We took some pictures on the tire swing and the outside view of the museum, we ate lunch at Tony Packo's and later we walk around the street. They took us to the Swamp Shop, There i bought a baseball ball. The view of the streets that we saw on the bus were really beautiful and artistic. Later that back on school we lost a few of classes so we start our blogs. On the Last hours we went to advisee check out, there we ate ice cream and played volleyball and other games, i had a great time!
Back home i did my homework and well here it is the end of my blog, thank you.
